Little pieces of us

These days I’m about to end my exam period. It’s also a time when people start coming back from their holidays. Others come back from the International Congress in India.

Everybody’s concerned, like their future is just about to start. The truth is it starts anew every day. The future is so linked with the present that it almost hurts. We’re in a continuous decision making expedition.

Still, what’s important is that, no matter how much pain it brings, life goes on, it goes forward. Always, if we look over our shoulders, we see little pieces of us left on the way. And it always hurts. Sometimes it hurts so much that you’d do everything to take the way back. But you never can.

That’s why it matters so much that we can decide what pieces to leave behind. This way, we’ll never have to go back, as we have the heart with us.
