Last night at the hospital, around 4 o’clock a.m., a 92 years old woman woke up. She tried to get out of the bed. The nurse found her sitting up.
“What are you doing? Where do you wanna go?”
“I want to go to the toilet”
“But you can’t, your leg is broken!”
“I need to go to the toilet!”
“Grandma, you’re not home, you’re at the hospital!”
“Oh, I’m at the hospital…what am I doing here, I need to go home, why did you take me away from my home?”
“You have a broken leg, we brought you here to help you with your leg”
“It hurts so much, whatever I do… it just hurts… why is this happening now, I’ve never been sick my entire life… and now I can’t hear well, I can’t see well…”
“Grandma, do you believe in God?”
“Yes, I do…”
“Get back to bed, say a prayer and everything will be fine… say a prayer…”
This is how we woke up, with a 92 years old woman whispering a prayer… I never have believed in God more than in that instant. 8 hours from then, at 12:00 today, In cluj, Rada was having an surgery. Also at 12:00 today, in Bucharest, my father was having an surgery. They are both safe now. Everything will be all right.
