Thank you for the sugar cubes, for the smiles and for the tears, for the far away friends who called, for the one who gave a thought, for the one who came to witness, for the music, for the candles, for the emotions, for the shiver in the voice, for the flash-backs, for the glimpse of the future, for your trust, for my confidence, for 4 years, for 50 conferences, for 50 badges given away to 50 people, for 3 hours, for the laughter, for the wine, for the shorts, for the chairs, for the basement, for the weather, for the new generation, for the old one, for the Dacians, for the Romans, for the football, for the hugs, for the look in your eyes, for the reaggueton, for the intensity, for the words, for the goodbye.

I leave AIESEC with its forever mark on my soul and with the hope that I left my print here for always. The Alumni badge I accidentally ran into some months ago was there for a reason.

The letter I wrote to myself last year, when I started my term as president:

Young man,

You read these lines and realize you know what you want from your life. You read these lines and see a strong president following you, with an organization who thinks differently and understands its meaning.

You read this and see how your life has changed. How Rada is there because you’re always near. How your parents understand and respect your work, because you honor them with it.

And see that your promises are unbroken.
