In other environments, this could start a real debate. But recent experiences have given me a new glimpse on what’s the real life. Maybe it comes with age, but not necessarily. Maybe it comes with maturity, but that’s a way big word for me. Maybe it’s a sense of responsibility for your own destiny.
Anyways, respect is more and more important has become to me. Not the honors, but the simple shows of I care, I mind and I appreciate, or at least the proof of I tolerate or I would be ashamed.
When it comes to types of relationships, I believe respect is at the base of all. respect, interlacing with admiration, appreciation or even love, make connections stay strong. Respect will not boost the relation, but it can easily influence it to ruin, once the respect is lost.
It applies to love and to friendship, to classmates and old friends, to parents and sons, to business colleagues and to strangers. The comparison with the toilet paper might seem inappropriate, but i’ll force it.
It becomes important only if you don’t have it. (o:
